Monday afternoon update

September 20, 2010

Well, it’s Monday and it’s time for an update. In my last post I talked about three films, and I’m going to update you folks on them right now.

For the first film, There’s a Zombie at My Door, we’re still waiting on the score. we’re having trouble getting it from Person A to Person C via Person B. So the wait is still on. I’ll have a special post once we get the darned thing.

Okay film #2, or rather the film I’ve been thinking about working on myself. I’ve been researching a bit and found a couple of nifty things to help me in my quest to make a film. The first is the script writing software Celtx, a free script writing software that helps you keep everything organized, such as the script, character information, and even storyboards. I’ve also recently learned about crowd-funding sites like Indiegogo and Kickstarter. I plan to use these in making the film. I also have an idea of what the film is going to be, as well as a basic plot to the film. I’m currently waiting on someone I recently spoke to about writing a script to get back to me about some stuff then I’ll start on my script.

As for the third film. It’s still up in the air. I was about to declare the thing dead in the water, but I recently found out that the script writer did have their computer during that time. It may take a while for them to get back to the script, but the possibility is there.

Also, the GWP page has some news so take a peek over there.
